The Public Health Institution: Gerontology Institute "13 November" is located in Skopje, str.4 July no. 129, in municipality of Gjorche Petrov and one municipality of Bitola, str. Lavichanski pat bb. The Gerontology Institute is managing with four objects (Geriatric Department, The nursing home for the elderly "Mother Theresa" in Zlokukani and Sue Ryder - Hospices in Skopje and Bitola.
On 28.09.2001 was opened, the first Pressure Ulcers Center in Republic of Macedonia in Gerontology Institute 13 November. Guest of the event was the Minister of health Mr. Nikola Todorov.
On April 8, 2011 at the PHI Gerontology Institute -13 November in Skopje, held a workshop on "Dekubitus-socioeconomic and therapeutic aspects", under the support of the Farm Trade - Skopje, representatives of Mölnlycke Health Care.
Ministry of Health in 2009 began a new tradition of giving awards "Hospital of the Year" for the successful work of public hospitals in eight categories. Recognition "Hospital of the Year" for financing projects with own funds received PHI Gerontology Institute "13 November " - Skopje.
